General Terms and Conditions

1.Legal Scope

The following general terms and conditions apply to all further education events that are carried out by employees of FQM Consulting GmbH.

2.Authorisation

Further education events are open to interested persons according to the respective event description. The prerequisite for participation in all further training events is that the further training costs, or the first partial amount invoiced, are paid. The admission requirements can be found in the respective detailed programs for further training. The event management decides on the admission to participation in a further education event.

3.Registration

Written registrations as well as online registrations are binding. By registering, the participant confirms that they have read and accepted the general terms and conditions as well as the event conditions following the advertisement. The number of places for a training event is limited. Registrations are usually considered in the order in which they are received. The event management can also apply other admission criteria, e.g. to ensure balanced group compositions in terms of certain competencies or professional experience. The event management decides on registrations after the registration deadline.

4.Quotations

The costs incurred for a further education event and the services contained therein are included in the event description.

5.Accomplishment

If a minimum number of registrations is not reached, FQM Consulting GmbH reserves the right not to hold the event. There is no guaranteed realisation of the events. The registered persons will be informed if the event does not take place as early as possible.

6.Amendments and adjustments

Program changes and personnel changes in a further education event are reserved.

7.Payment terms

After receiving the confirmation, further training costs are usually to be paid before the start of the event. Special payment terms for the individual further training events are reserved. If the training costs are not paid on time, attendance at the event can be refused. The obligation to pay the training costs remains unaffected.

8.Cancellation, non-attendance, cancellation or exclusion due to outstanding training costs

Cancellations must always be made in writing.

  • If you unsubscribe before the registration deadline, it is free of charge.
  • Cancellations after the registration deadline, half of the training costs will be charged, unless a replacement participant can be brought.
  • In the event of cancellation after the start of the training, non-attendance, cancellation of participation, or exclusion due to outstanding training costs, the full invoiced amount is owed. FQM Consulting GmbH can waive all or part of the payment for further training costs in the case of exceptional, non-culpable exceptional cases hardship cases (e.g. death in the family, illness with a medical certificate, accident). The waiver of the costs of further training is entirely at the discretion of FQM Consulting GmbH.

9.Data protection

By registering, the participant agrees that personal data will be recorded electronically for the organisation of further training. From this data, for example, class lists, and email distributors are created, which are made available to the trainers and participants. During the training, confidential information or data protection may be exchanged in connection with the training. The participant agrees not to disclose information to third parties. The obligation applies beyond the completion of further training.

10.The applicable law and jurisdiction specified

Swiss law applies. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Zug.

11. Enactment

These General Terms and Conditions will apply to new registrations and by mutual agreement for enrolled continuing education participants from June 1, 2020.
